Recorridos de flâneur: creación fotográfica desde la resignificación del espacio cotidiano

Abstract

The research-creation project " Recorridos de flâneur: creación fotográfica desde la resignificación del espacio cotidiano " is an academic work of the urban culture line of the master's degree in Communication-Education at the “Francisco José de Caldas” University. This work starts from the city as a scene of relationships and interaction, construction and continuous changes of meanings; it arises from concerns about the city and the routes that are carried out in everyday space characterized by constant, rapid, transitory and ephemeral movement. In this sense, it is proposed a theoretical study and a creative exercise based on three fundamental axes: the everyday, photography and the term flâneur. Based on the thematic axes that were mentioned previously, it is proposed a photo exhibition where the visitor can generate reinterpretations and reflections on the images through photographic language, those photos were taken from the tours carried out by the photographer, who embodies the figure of the flâneur from his relationship with the space and daily practices in Bogotá’s city. In this way, it is approached the term flâneur as a reflective walker who stops and observes the daily life of the city, proposing new forms of visual resignification from the image.
