Abstract

The image contains news about the visit diligence carried out in the collection of the Cleaning, Lighting and Surveillance Tax. In Bogotá, on February 1, 1901, this procedure was carried out at the Office of the Collection of the Cleaning, Lighting and Surveillance Tax. The purpose of this visit was to examine the operations carried out during the month of last January, which were recorded in the Cash Book, given that the Journal and Ledger books had not yet been returned by the outgoing Collector. After an analysis of the Cash Book, it was found that $20,949.40 was collected, in addition to the Collector's fees and the salaries of the employees, leaving a balance to be remitted to the Treasury. Since no irregularity was found, the cash book was approved and the visit procedure was signed by the participants. News published in the Official Gazette. February 13, 1901.
