Resumen
The image contains news about a letter addressed to the editor of "La Indicación" on September 6, 1822. José Ignacio Serrano comments on a decree of November 28, 1820, issued by the vice president of the republic, which ordered accepting all currency that was not counterfeit, including resealed and clipped currency that had not lost more than three-quarters of its value. Serrano denounces that this has led to the majority of the coins being cut by at least half, which threatens to render all of the Macuquina currency useless. He points out that it is impossible to identify those responsible for this cut, who rely on the decree to commit these abuses, and warns of the serious economic consequences that this can entail.
