Resumen
Introduction: This research presents a proposal of a maturity model applied to the entrepreneurial processes in Colombian SMEs, carried out during 2017 at the Francisco José de Caldas District University. Its objective is to make a diagnostic of entrepreneurial action in this type of organizations through the evaluation of five factors, which are: Profile of the entrepreneur, Economic and financial aspects, Market conditions, Creation and dissemination of knowledge and ICT solutions; relating them to the different levels of maturity proposed by the CMMI methodology. Methodology: a) A review is made of the literature regarding entrepreneurship and maturity model, b) the main factors for entrepreneurship processes are identified, c) the maturity model is designed, d) the model is validated by means of the Delphi methodology and Judgment of experts e) the statistical analysis of the results is carried out, f) the conclusions and improvement actions are raised to increase the level of maturity of the factor "Market conditions", developed throughout the writing. Results: The validated maturity model shows a percentage of acceptance by the experts of 83.75%, suggesting some improvements in the proposed levels. Conclusion: This model shows the situation of entrepreneurship processes for already established companies, and through its implementation by an expert seeks to generate improvement actions and make entrepreneurship a tool for the economic growth of the organization. Limitations: The proposed model has not been tested in an SME and is currently in its conceptual construction. Originality: A similar model has not been established that evaluated the processes of entrepreneurship in companies through the CMMI methodology
