Abstract

This work consolidates the academic proposal to opt for the title of Engineer in telematics from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, which shows applied all the knowledge acquired during the degree. Bearing in mind the information security problem presented by the company Suramericana SA, this work has the purpose of implementing a information security system (ISMS) with the aim of facilitating the implementation of good information security practices, collection and analysis of variables that allows in the future to generate aid for the improvement of the quality of computer security in the company through technology. In this project, a management system for the safety of the information through a manual of good computer security practices. By Through these tools, it was sought to give a better management to the information that is provided to the users of the company and create a system that allows feeding the database with new vulnerabilities, facilitating data collection and the treatment of these. This manual will also allow to give alerts of good safety practices to officials from time to time through your corporate emails. On the other hand, it also seeks to generate indicators of quality after the implementation of this system.
