Resumen
There is an indicated process of interception of rains which has come to gain importance for its report in the reduction of the erosive effect caused by the raindrop when it hits the ground, in the water balance of the hydrographic caves, in the recharge of aquifers and in Urban drainage system designs, however, achieving interception is a challenge because of the number of factors implicit in it. This document has been developed through a selection of scientific articles from indexed journals and postgraduate reports, which have sometimes been a qualitative and mathematical analysis, in which it is possible to determine the most predominant variables when calculating the interception of rains. It was concluded that the interception process is mainly affected by climatological, meteorological and dasometric characteristics, and it is recommended that this project should have continuity taking advantage of the results of this research and elements of the hydrology laboratory of the District University.
