Resumen
The degree project explores the theme of absence through the representation of an uninhabited room that symbolizes the void left by a person. The text is structured in several sections that address the impact of absence on memories and objects, as well as its relationship with melancholy and memory. It emphasizes that objects possess deep histories and meanings, transforming into containers of memories. Melancholy is presented as a creative process that drives the author to resignify the space and the experiences lived.
Furthermore, memory is defined as a dynamic entity, capable of recomposing what is lost and generating new narratives. Throughout the work, technical aspects of photography are also mentioned as a medium that captures absences, and it concludes with the presentation of a plastic proposal and a gallery of images, highlighting the influence of loss on artistic creation. The project also explores how uninhabited spaces and the objects they contain can narrate stories of absences, using photography as a medium to document and resignify these spaces.
