Abstract

This paper describes a novel urban drainage systems leading to the sustainability of the current economic development and at the same time give the man a tool to adapt to climatic variations presented by the planet. Wanting to describe Urban sustainable drainage systems born under the idea of retaining the best possible water resources entering certain watershed imitating the way of working of nature, with the purpose of preventing natural disasters such as floods generated by the peaks runoff as high as evidenced in the cities, in this case Bogota. To capture the description of these systems in this document a large time interval distributed in a methodological classification with which the base document landed idea was reversed. These systems respond to the problems that urbanization brings Watershed through ecological,hydraulic and hydrological principles, which are a new tool to help improve the quality of life of people.
