Resumen
This work presents the findings and reflections that emerged during the creation process of the monologue "Crisálida," in which the actress had the opportunity to take on roles outside her usual scope, such as playwriting and directing. This led to the exploration of an intuitive working methodology similar to the concept of "Actor and Actress Anarchization," developed by the members of the García Márquez Center "El Original." This concept involves autonomous and conscious work by actors and actresses starting from improvisation, without being limited by rational constraints of the text.
Therefore, the development of this work consists of a report on the process of staging the monologue, focusing on three fundamental concepts of dramatic theater: dramaturgy, character, and staging. Additionally, it includes a comparative analysis that highlights the similarity between the methodology used in creating the monologue and the one proposed by the concept developed at the García Márquez Center "El Original." In doing so, it aims to question the limitations present in theatrical methodologies that hinder the creative freedom of actors and actresses.
Through self-reflection on the staging process, this work seeks to expose the advantages of a working method that advocates for and prioritizes the creation of the performance based on intuition and the creativity of the individuals involved.
