Resumen
This researching offers a detailed look about the practice of graffiti and urban art, which occasional passer-by, habitual citizen or the knowledgeable follower, perceive in different locations of Bogota's city. Some universal referents are approached, in order to look retrospectively the two phenomena, contextualize them to the local scene and understand how has been their development. These aspects have postulated Bogotá as one of the main cities, where these two alternative urban communication ways have been emerged with greater force. The document also presents a characterization of some of its exponents, as they are only a sample of the enormous diversity in visible styles, communicative intentions, as well as thematic motivations, graffiti writers and artists establish in the city. The research links up some conceptual bases concerning on the aesthetic experience and its reception. It inquires the spectators about their vision on this graphic practice, which over time, have been considered as a confrontational and resistance voice. It is possible to find polyphony in those points of view, because talking about graffiti and street art usually raises thoughts of approval, reticent, but rarely indifferent.
