Resumen
The debate on the concept of development is permanent and presents itself as a central category for the understanding of society and of humanity in itself, but that in relation to the ideological bases that sustain them through a predominant discourse is related to the crisis environmental, it is necessary to rethink their meanings, contents and implications from a complex view of the social, cultural, ecological, environmental, political, economic and historical interactions of a given context. Therefore, the present work aims to rethink the development from the rural zone of Ciudad Bolivar, seeking to put in dialogue the predominant discourse and the diverse voices of local actors, together with the problems and potentialities of the territory. This way of thinking will lead to the harmonization of these discourses, starting from contemplating the social and economic dynamics that take place, immersed in a political and ideological framework and characterized by historical and cultural processes that give shape to the local realities and open step to the notion of sustainable local development that it proposes to raise.
