Resumen
The ZNI (Non-Interconnected Zones) represent 51% of the national territory, 5% of these have an electric energy service from non-conventional and renewable energy sources, the rest use fossil fuel generation plants, The use of these energy solutions in isolated areas of the country is highly complex, since the service depends on external conditions such as availability of transport, weather conditions, state of river, land or air access routes, etc. , reflecting the above in a high cost of generating electricity and eventually a high rate of energy service per kW / h, additionally they present a generation of polluting Co2 that contributes to the greenhouse effect of the planet, it is thus that said problem is imperative solve it by designing a hybrid electric power generation system (Solar-Diesel) for the particular case of e This project in the Municipality of Acandí - Choco, allowing to reduce generation costs, rates and subsidies, as well as improving the quality of life of users and the environmental conditions of the area with the use of renewable energy sources, reducing the use of fossil fuels.
