The image contains news about the Decree on the collection of accounts from the provincial treasury of 1856, issued by the Governor of the province of Bogotá, which initiated a rigorous procedure for the collection of accounts from the Provincial Treasury. Any individual or entity entitled to receive a payment from the treasury was required to submit a detailed payroll to the Department of Revenue within a specified period. This payroll had to include the name of the creditor, the amount to be collected and a description of the service provided. Payrolls submitted after the deadline will be processed in the following month, with some exceptions for unforeseen expenses. In addition, special rules were established for the payrolls of public employees, requiring the signature of the head of the corresponding office and, in the case of judicial employees, an additional report.
