| dc.description | Feasibility studies in telecommunications regard the identiication, among other things, the beneits to be gained by migrating a network technology to new or novel technologies. The company Movistar , is not the exception. It is currently supporting local CoreORE (Bogotá) on SDH Transmission. The amount of trafic carried indicatesa saturation of the channel, which involves using external carriers and does not guarantee reliability in service. This article describes the study of the projection on the local CoreORE, migrating to DWDM technology. The methodology is based on trafic studies, CoreORE scalability, scalability at the commercial level; comparing the behavior of the network to check that it has been implemented, taking into account variables such as availability and QoS parameters. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los estudios de factibilidad en telecomunicaciones pretenden identiicar, entre otros asuntos, los beneicios que se obtendrían al migrar una tecnología de red hacia nuevas o novedosas tecnologías. La empresa telefónica demóviles Movistar no es la excepción. Actualmente, el Core local (Bogotá) de transmisión se encuentra soportado sobre tecnología SDH. La cantidad de tráico que se transporta indica una saturación del canal, lo que ha implicado utilizar carriers externos que no garantizan iabilidad en la prestación del servicio. Este artículo describe el estudio de la proyección en el Core local, migrando a tecnología DWDM. La metodología se basa enestudios de tráico, escalabilidad del Core, escalabilidad a nivel comercial. Se compara el comportamiento de la red actual con el que tendría si se realizara la implementación, teniendo en cuenta diversas variables, comola disponibilidad y los parámetros de QoS. | es-ES |
