Resumen
The construction sector makes significant contributions to pollution worldwide, due to the high consumption of energy produced by fossil fuels from the process of extraction, transformation, and final disposal of construction materials, in turn, inefficient consumption is presented of energy and water during the lifespan of buildings. Sustainable construction is presented as an alternative to reduce the impacts of traditional construction, and the use of appropriate technologies is implemented from the design in order to optimize the consumption of energy and water resources seeking sustainability in their use. Together with a complete characterization of both biophysical and sociocultural variables, they allow us to propose a design based on their sustainable use. Therefore, it was decided to innovate in the design of housing of social interest for the city of Bogotá, through the implementation of new systems for the supply of water, energy and mixed resources, such as the recirculation of gray water, the use of rainwater, a double electric power network one at 110V and one at 12V, finally a solar collector system, with an electric step heater to heat the water, in addition to the modification of non-structural building materials by wood; In the end, the production cost of the generated model is compared with the technologies compared to a housing of traditional social interest.
