Resumen
The text explores the relationship between two intimate spaces, the bathroom and the confessional, and how these spaces intersect with self-referential experience and the perception of the body, abuse, and guilt. The author analyzes the analogies and contrasts between these spaces, highlighting how both bear the imprint of a social imaginary related to the erotic universe. The work highlights the way in which images and social norms merge and contradict each other in these spaces, creating an echo for obscenity and the implementation of good norms.
The text also reflects on the way these spaces appropriate one space within another, and how the transition from the public to the private is envisioned. The author emphasizes the importance of the collective gaze in the configuration of these spaces, and how a mirrored space is created that confirms who we are.
