Resumen
This degree project presents the development of an artistic internship carried out at the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden in Bogotá, focused on the research, experimentation, and application of anthotype as an alternative, ecological, and symbolic photographic technique. Anthotype, based on the light sensitivity of plant pigments, is proposed here as a sustainable tool for image creation, in dialogue with local flora, personal memory, and environmental awareness. Throughout the internship, curatorial activities, public workshops, and graphic design projects were carried out as part of the garden’s cultural agenda. This work reflects on the temporality of the image, the role of error in artistic processes, and the potential of anthotype as a medium to reframe the relationships between art, nature, and community.
