Resumen
Objective: Analysis of strategies for the localization of low impedance faults in power systems with distributed generation. Methodology: A review of documents available in databases and academic-scientific journals related to electrical engineering was carried out, from which several strategies for troubleshooting were selected and analyzed, mainly articles published in international indexed journals. Results: Selection and analysis of fault location strategies based on the low impedance model. The analysis for each strategy includes the generalities, description of the Mathematical Model, the Constraints and Conditions, a Pseudocode and a Flowchart. The authors were responsible for the development of the Pseudocodes and Flow Diagrams. Conclusions: Several strategies for the localization of low impedance faults in power systems with distributed generation were analyzed, which vary according to the required input information, the mathematical basis and the amount of information generated as a result; providing alternatives for the calculation of the fault distance in electrical systems with different characteristics.
