Resumen
In this edition of Voces y Regiones, the concept of cultural identity and the elements that strengthen it in the department of Quindío are explored. The interviews highlight the value of Quindío's culture, emphasizing its natural wealth, diverse climate, and traditions that have played a key role in shaping its identity.
Quindío's cultural identity is expressed through its daily customs, festivities, gastronomy, and artistic manifestations, such as the Colombian Folkloric Festival and Andean music, represented by rhythms like. This cultural diversity is the result of Indigenous, Afro-descendant, and Spanish influences, reflected in its dances, crafts, and popular expressions. Additionally, the region’s diverse landscapes, ranging from mountains to rivers and plains, further enrich its identity, establishing Tolima as a territory with a remarkable cultural and natural heritage.
