Resumen
The work «Montaje: Tiranos y banderas», deals with the evolution of the theatrical montage of the theatrical play of the same name and in which several concerns arose about the process itself. An analysis of the play Tirano Banderas by Ramón del Valle-Inclán and the adaptation made by Enrique Buenaventura in 1968, on which the production was based, is presented. In addition, an analysis is made of the play La Tras Escena by Fernando Peñuela, which served as a complement to the initial staging. In this work, a historical journey is made through the Latin American tyrannies and their most representative characters. An analysis of the experiences recorded by the author in the log made during the assembly is made and a connection is made between the works and the challenges involved in its realization. One of the fundamental elements in this work is the relationship between training and the construction of a character; To this end, a strategy was designed that linked Hatha Yoga as support for collective and individual acting performance. A journey is made that accounts for the use of the concepts and techniques of Yoga by great referents of universal theater such as Stanislavsky, Grotowski and Hulton, among others. In conclusion, it is necessary to consider the practice of yoga as a tool that not only serves for introspection but also for strengthening the attitudes that an actor needs in his professional life.
