Companies, whether large or medium, have the need to be able to expand their market, reaching more and more customers. In order to achieve this goal, the development of several tasks at the managerial, executive and operational levels, which makes them more difficult to manage depending on the size of the organization. The simplification of tasks, hiring new staff or outsourcing are some of the alternatives that the company has to solve this problem. Outsourcing has also been one of the most adopted trends by companies in recent years, either because they want to focus more on their core business or do not have the staff trained for a process. Given the two possibilities above it is possible that outsourcing is an alternative to a "lower cost" or otherwise the company gives up the idea of outsourcing by internal and / or external factors; Whatever the reason, the company is initially faced with the dilemma of whether it is better to outsource the development of a computer project or to assume it; This is precisely the environment where the present work is located. This paper presents a methodological prototype as a support tool for companies in decision making, with the purpose of ensuring aspects such as the company's Know How, heritage, quality in services and / or products offered and improvement in the times Of customer response.
