Resumen
The image contains news about the Circular issued by the Secretary of State of the Office of the Interior of the Republic of New Granada, dated November 28, 1844, addressed to the Governor of the province. The circular addresses the need to regulate the use of weights and measures through official marking, in accordance with previous legislative provisions that have generated divergent interpretations between governorates. The Executive Branch, with the objective of avoiding confusion and ensuring uniformity in commerce, establishes that individuals may use their own duly marked weights and measures at public fairs and markets, without being obliged to rent those from local councils. News published in the Official Registry. November 28, 1844.
