Abstract

This research-creation project weaves and unravels the memories that build the personal memory of its author who travels through the collective from sewing as a generator of encounters and dialogues with others. In this way, it is intended to understand what the roles of this practice have been in the reconstruction of the memories of the members of the process of the Union of Seamstresses and the Network of Pro Weavers, since nding closeness between texts and textiles enriches these lines that resort to metaphors to narrate the process lived. Starting from her own skills as a seamstress and assuming the latter as a practice that requires time, patience and willingness, a research methodology is developed that weaves together stories, memories and dreams that continue to be built.
