Abstract

Among the environmental problems we are currently facing, the management, reduction or elimination of Hazardous Waste have become one of the main concerns and a priority for companies. In the plants of the Engativá complex of the company Agropecuaria Aliar S.A. (Portioning plant and derivatives plant) were evidence inadequate management and disposal of hazardous waste generated in the maintenance of the different elements and machinery that make up the process plants; since there is ignorance and outdated product safety data sheets used since over time some suppliers and products have changed. Via of the internship modality, it is intended to carry out in a homogeneous, concise and organized manner, a document for the first time, which will serve as instructions for Agropecuaria Aliar S.A., which will guide towards an adequate handling and internal management of the Hazardous Waste originated by the maintenance and refrigeration area; in order to comply with decree 1076 of 2015, Title 6, Hazardous Waste, which indicates the obligations and responsibilities as a generator and comprehensive management of hazardous waste. To carry out this document, activities were carried out ranging from accompanying to the two areas involved until the final socialization of the document. It is expected to provide instrument to Agropecuaria Aliar S.A. that will contribute to your sustainability policy environmental.
