Resumen
This visual and plastic proposal begins with a personal concern about the part that objects play in our lives and how we are continuously qualified by the type of products we consume. This is why the main purpose of the project is to propose a scenario composed of three spaces (showcases) that display plastic objects in a non-conventional way, all of which intends to plastically rethink the relationships that we stablish with daily objects to widen their significance. And, given that objects construct their own "relationship sociology", this helps us also rethink the relationships we stablish between ourselves, which are mediated by those between and with objects. Strategically, a fictitious brand named MERX was created to unifies all three showcases in a single scenario in which objects are exhibited as if they were a sort of commodity or unpublished product halfway between useful object and artistic object. For this reason, these objects become mediators for the creation of new meanings. As its a brand that brings objects to various purposes, they can be exhibited both in artistic spaces and in non-conventional spaces. That is what makes this plastic proposal unique.
