Abstract

In the present work of degree, the result of the internship in the company is described Arcis Engineering, which has 4 requirements to implement technological solutions. Two of the requirements are related to the reorganization of communications infrastructure, and the other two are tasks of upgrading servers and implementation of perimeter security. In the development of the project, in each request of communications infrastructure, the methodology of Top Down Network Design is used that is to solve a problem, to design a network or to program something based on the modularization, encapsulation or segmentation starting from top to bottom. These modules must have hierarchy and must be integrated with each other. This methodology allowed to make scalable designs, in addition to allowing technological proposals more landed and adjusted to the needs of customers. In the requests for server upgrades and perimeter security, the methodology was simpler, because they are specific tasks, however, making a work plan was quite important to have a proper sequence, to have an overview of the solution and the impact that can be generated in the organization.
