Aportes para el diseño de una experiencia agroecológica en la Inspección de La Victoria en el Municipio de Mesitas de El Colegio, Cundinamarca

Abstract

Agroecology is a scientific discipline that seeks to promote the development of agriculture from a social and environmental approach, this discipline has emerged in response to a model of intensive industrial agriculture, which has been generating negative effects on the environment and rural communities. In this research project, the approaches made to the peasant associations of the La Victoria inspection are presented, analyzing how these processes are currently being developed and how a transition could be generated from conventional production models to production systems with agroecological principles. This analysis is carried out based on the characterization of the agricultural production system of two organizations such as the Association of Organic Farmers Producers of La Victoria and the Association of Coffee Growers of Coffee Tables of El Colegio in the area corresponding to the inspection of La Victoria, under the theoretical references of agroecology from the dimensions of this approach and articulating this analysis to the elements of territorial planning.
