Sistema de bicicletas públicas compartidas en Bogotá

Abstract

The rapid growth of the population in urban areas, the deficiency of road infrastructure and the saturation of the transport system, are some of the factors that negatively affect mobility in most large cities such as Bogotá. Large capitals around the world such as Madrid and Quito have chosen to implement sustainable transport systems, in order to provide alternatives to mitigate these problems. Therefore, a proposal for the implementation of a shared public bicycle system in the city of Bogotá is presented below, where the market study is presented, which allows determining the main characteristics of the proposal, such as its method of operation, coverage of urban area, also proposing the economic and financial analysis that allows evaluating the viability of the project. This project aims to provide great benefits not only in improving the mobility of the city, but also generating a positive impact in reducing pollution by air particles and in general improving the quality of life for Bogota citizens.
