Estrategias de fortalecimiento del turismo rural comunitario en la Vereda el Tablón del Municipio de Susa Cundinamarca

Abstract

This degree project aimed to propose strategies for sustainable local development through the inclusion of rural community tourism in the Vereda El Tablón, located in the municipality of Susa, Cundinamarca. The community of El Tablón has experienced an aging population due to the migration of youth to urban environments in search of better opportunities. The proposal focused on integrating the agricultural activities of the peasant community with the tourist offer, highlighting the landscape, cultural, gastronomic and artisanal attractions of the territory. To achieve this purpose, various data collection and analysis instruments were used, such as semi-structured interviews that allowed the identification of the roles played by the actors in the sociocultural, economic and environmental dimensions of the Vereda, which led to the performance of an analysis. This analysis established the basis for the formulation of strategies aimed at the implementation of Community Rural Tourism (CRT), representing an option that the community can adopt to strengthen the local economy in a sustainable manner.
