Abstract

In accordance with the objectives set out in the project and the schedule stipulated therein, the programmed activities were carried out between the start and end dates of the internship. Among these activities were: make a diagnosis of the Manufacturing Area, evaluate the processes and classify them according to their level of criticality, collect input information, perform the design of a methodology that allows statistical control over the most critical processes and measure capacity indices. All these activities were socialized with the Manufacturing Area Headquarters as they were developed. In addition to these tasks, other proposals related to Statistical Control and the measurement of Capacity Indices were designed, which were supported by the Head of Costs, Quality Management and Plant Management. One proposal consists in the determination and control of process times according to control charts, this has already been approved and has been carried out since then. The other proposal is about updating performance specifications based on capacity indices.
