Unificar y estandarizar la información de alturas que se encuentran en las bases de datos utilizadas por el GIT geodesia del Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi

Abstract

The Geographical Institute Agustín Codazzi is the entity in charge of the establishment and maintenance of the vertical geodesic network in the national territory, as well as the field measurement, verification, calculation and publication of heights through the Internal Working Group Geodesy, which has been recording information in various sources or databases, whose storage formats for the present, have been obsolete and due to the large number of existing records from 1985 to date, inconsistencies have been generated, taking into account that There is little complementary information that allows establishing variables to consolidate the data, causing duplication or redundancy in the information of geodesic vertices, which makes it difficult to make a query by users in a timely and accurate manner. Because of the need of the Internal Working Group to resolve the aforementioned inconsistencies, an internship support was developed whose results obtained through the process of selection and unification of heights as well as the criteria used for the purification are described through of the present document.
