| dc.description.abstract | This research examines human brain activity from an interdisciplinary perspective integrating neuroscience, electrodynamics, mathematical modeling, and language studies. Recognizing that neural activity is fundamentally bioelectrical, the study analyzes how ionic currents in neurons generate electric and magnetic fields in accordance with Maxwell’s laws. While such fields have traditionally been studied at the individual level using EEG and MEG, this work extends the focus to collective contexts in which multiple individuals share sensory, emotional, and symbolic stimuli. Using a systematic literature review based on the PRISMA 2020 methodology, key contributions on neural oscillations, brain synchrony, bioelectromagnetism, and social cognition were synthesized. The findings suggest that inter-individual neural synchronization may give rise to emergent electromagnetic signatures as a result of field superposition, which, although extremely weak, are physically plausible. The study concludes that further mathematical development and advanced measurement technologies are required to model and empirically test these phenomena. If confirmed, such findings would have significant implications for neuroscience, pragmatics, and discourse analysis by incorporating the bioelectrical dimension into the understanding of human communication and collective cognition. | |
