Potencial Energético de la Biomasa Residual Pecuaria del Departamento de Cundinamarca - Colombia

Abstract

The following document presents an estimate of the energy potential that can be obtained from the residual animal biomass existing in the department of Cundinamarca - Colombia, in order to determine the importance of this energy source in the area of alternative energies. Within the scope of the investigation are: Characterize both the livestock sector of the department and manure generated in it, consult the mathematical models that best describe the energy transformation of this waste and finally calculate the energy input that could be obtained in this region based on the excretions of the main livestock species ; Poultry, bovine and porcine, all without taking into account any kind of losses.
