Resumen
Padre de Jesus creek is located in the city of Bogotá D.C Eastern Hills in, locality of Santa Fe making part of the basin of the Fucha river watershed. At present it lacks studies that define the behavior of this creek in front of a precipitation event. In order to report the precipitation of the watershed with the flow, the Hydrograph Unit (HU) was calculated by the synthetic methods (triangular and curvilinear) and the matrix method based on field measurements; Precipitation data was taken from the Guadeloupe rain station an IDIGER charge; The morphometric characteristics of the watershed required for the generation of synthetic HU were generated through the ArcGIS program and the flow data were obtained through the design and construction of a flow monitoring system consisting of a triangle weir and a limnigraph, Which was designed from variables such as: load on landfill (H) and flow (Rodriguez, 2013). The system performed the monitoring for 24 hours from April 1 to May 8, 2017, showing graphs of the water level, which were related to the precipitation data of the station. The effective rains taken for the construction of the HU by the matrix method corresponded to the reports on 3-4 and 4-5 May. The results allowed that the Unitary Hydrograph that better adjusted to the hydrological behavior of the basin was found by the matrix method.
