Thinking about solid waste management becomes a daunting task and even more so when according to the World Bank in its most recent report, “Waste 2.0: a global overview of solid waste management until 2050”. Alert against the possibility, in the case of not adopting urgent measures before that year, the accumulation of waste worldwide will grow by 70% with respect to current levels. The report predicts that in the next 30 years, global waste generation, driven by rapid urbanization and population growth, will increase from 2010 million tons recorded in 2016 to 3.4 billion. (Kaza et al., 2018) Due to this disagreement, the company Dumuna Consultoría Ambiental located in the city of Bogotá, which was born in 2018 and is established in 2020, in order to promote actions that have an impact on the environment. environment, intends within its environmental policies to design a Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan (PGIRS). Therefore, the objective of this project is the formulation for the Dumuna Environmental Consulting company of a Solid Waste Management Plan (PGIRS), it will be carried out through the execution of an academic monograph of the Environmental Administration career of the University District Francisco José de Caldas and will seek to specify the rules on the handling, storage, transportation, use and final disposal of the aforementioned waste. Based on the information presented, it is considered necessary to design an adequate system for the management and final disposal of its solid waste for the consulting company, based on the environmental provisions of the city and the environmental and social commitment to the locality.
