Road safety is an issue of public health that worldwide losses human estimated at 1.25 million fatalities and it is the leading cause of death in people between 15 and 29 years (National irectorate of planning, 2018); Meanwhile, in Colombia the transport accidents leave life more than 7 thousand people a year and is the second leading cause of violent death in the country (unit for the attention and Integral service to the Victimas.2018) .of Similarly Bogota has one of the highest rates of injuries in traffic accidents According to statistics of the year 2016. According to the World Health Organization (who), road accidents is one the largest causes of violent death in Colombia, this situation is considered one problems of public health due to the forecast of an annual figure of 2, 4 million deaths violent by the year 2030, and which pose no preventive measures in this situation would be the second leading cause of death above causes such as HIV or violence. In this case, it is clear the objective of road safety work focused on the warranty of the displacement of a population on its territory, minimizing the impact on your health by transportation accidents, therefore who declared in 2004 that road safety is a multi-sectoral problem that must have the vulnerability of the human being as a parameter therefore an accident with serious consequences can be prevented (road vehicles), design (not only from the road behavior) and predicted (through risk analysis, at the end of all the actions must be focused on benefiting all users alike, with special care of the most vulnerable. This document presents the "auditing in road safety in the section Diagnostics resulting in phase of operation of the Avenida Primero de Mayo between the 35B South Street and the 43 South Street in Bogota D. C. ", by SG road engineers Auditors in road safety, with the aim of" give the necessary recommendations to reduce the accident rate in this section. Initially presents the description and general aspects of the corridor study in terms of location, applications of geometric characteristics, soil, tramificacion and sectorization, stratification of infrastructure and operations; Likewise, is the analysis of conditions for points critical and risk selected according to the statistics of accidents of the Secretariat to Mobility district taking into account the different aspects that affect road safety. Finally, is the analysis of the risk according to defined criteria for the evaluation of threats, danger and level of impact, as well as the multi matrix that allowed the final risk assessment, which is represented on maps of risks and data sheets that describe the main findings found for each study.
