Evaluación del Alcance Social de la Especialización en Higiene, Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo a Través de los Proyectos de Grado Entre el 2016 y 2018

Resumen
For the preparation of this work, RIUD staff were asked for a Database with the work of the specialization of Hygiene, Safety and Health at Work of the Francisco José de Caldas University. The works provided were carried out between the years 2016 to 2018, which were classified for each line of investigation under the table of dangers of the Colombian Technical Guide GTC 45 in Annex A. Additionally, three more categories were defined, such as Management and Security Systems. At Work, Programs, manuals, booklets or studies and, Emergency and contingency plans. From the definition of social scope and aligned with the objectives set out in the Educational Project of the Program (PEP), five indicators were defined under which each of the projects was evaluated within an evaluation matrix that rated compliance or non-compliance of these. As a result, a distribution of social scope was obtained for each of the lines of research based on compliance with each of these five indicators; thus concluding that the lines that have a greater social scope because they are the ones that most developed work report, and according to the evaluation matrix are Biomechanics and Programs, manuals, booklets or studies. Finally, it is recommended to encourage the development of undergraduate work in the other lines, in public companies so that there is better compliance with the objectives of the program; and additionally implement a cost benefit study in undergraduate work as it was the indicator with the least compliance
