Resumen
This document proposes a research project on the energy consumption of the current system of public lighting in the municipality of Nemocón located in Cundinamarca, with the purpose of presenting energy efficiency measures using a design photometric (along with the change in technology) to favorably impact the community in social, economic and environmental terms. The aim of this project is to develop a lighting analysis and design, by means of a general and explanatory methodology, which outlines the process to be followed when want to develop modernizations of public lighting in LED technology on a large scale, and that in addition that the designs made comply with the provisions of the RETILAP standard. This methodology contains a very specific data collection, collected by means of the electrical surveys carried out in the urban area of the municipality. Then, based on that information determines each of the steps to be taken, such as the creation of plans (under Codensa's symbolism in likinormas) of the current lighting circuit in sodium technology, which make it possible to establish the relationship between each of the lighting parameters public (pole, luminaire and distribution centre) via the low-voltage branch circuits the georeferencing of the luminous points, with the purpose of speeding up the future maintenance processes, the classification of the tracks according to RETILAP, the designs in the Dialux certified software, and the results obtained taking into account the energy efficiency.
