Resumen
In the Voces y Regiones program, the work of hospital clowns in Montería is discussed, highlighting a group of clowns who bring joy and hope to hospitalized patients. Through humor, music, and interaction, these volunteers aim to ease the emotional impact of hospitalization, especially for children and the elderly.
This type of initiative is based on laughter therapy, which has been shown to help reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, and improve patients' moods. Moreover, their work not only benefits the patients but also their families and medical staff, creating a more humane and positive atmosphere in hospitals.
The presence of hospital clowns is becoming increasingly common in different regions of the country, promoting the importance of emotional well-being in medical treatments and proving that laughter can also be a form of healing.
