Resumen
In the Congress of the Republic there is a problem due to the inadequate disposal of hazardous waste, since inside these facilities there is a dental office and a medical office, adding to this the new law approved by the Pet Friendly congress, which allows workers to bring their pets, thus generating excreta. Due to the waste that can be generated with the activities named above, it is decided to incorporate the Globally Harmonized System, thus labeling the waste and the affectation that can reach health and the environment. Having said the above, the internship will be carried out as a degree modality focused on the Incorporation of the Globally Harmonized System in the Division of Goods and Services of the Senate of the Republic of Colombia. The main objective of this modality will be the identification, understanding and improvement of the implementation of the Globally Harmonized System, for the integral management of hazardous waste in the Senate of the Republic of Colombia. As a result, the internal processes of the Environmental Management System are expected to be strengthened, promptly providing conceptual tools and a technical line for the optimization of hazardous waste management. Within this, designing labels in order to identify the pertinent risks of each waste and clarify its management route, fully complying with the regulatory framework. Likewise, contribute to the implementation of new initiatives related to the opening of the institution. For this, it will be divided into six phases, which will allow us to comply with what has been said above, these six phases are composed of: Diagnose, formulation and execution, report delivery and balance of actions, review and compliance, support in activities and final balance
