Resumen
In Bogotá between the years 2009-2012, the musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) represented 72% of the consultations of pathologies reported by the Health Promoting Entities; Likewise, the Occupational Risk Managers recognized that 93% of occupational diseases were MSDs. The present work of degree evaluates the impact of the Epidemiological Surveillance Systems related to biomechanical risk factors and musculoskeletal disorders in a group of companies from Bogotá for the period 2014 - 2018. Based on a descriptive-retrospective study of a cohort of 25 companies with different organizational characteristics, customers of an Occupational Health and Safety service provider; the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and risk factors was determined in two different periods, their variation among them, for a later statistical analysis of correlations and associations with the organizational variables and the percentages of execution of the interventions proposed in said systems. The study did not show the impact of the interventions; It is important that the design considers the organizational characteristics, as well as establishing strategies to improve adherence by companies.
