The image contains a report on how the inhabitants of the Canton of Bogotá organized public celebrations to thank their liberators, beginning on July 23. They obtained permission and requested that Vice President Santander attend as a guest of honor. A decree of July 7 recognized the tribute as "highly commendable." This report was published in the Bogotá City Gazette on July 9, 1820.

La imagen contiene una noticia sobre cómo los habitantes del Cantón de Bogotá organizaron fiestas públicas para agradecer a sus libertadores, comenzando el 23 de julio. Obtuvieron permiso y desearon que el Vicepresidente Santander asistiera como invitado de honor. Un decreto del 7 de julio reconoció el homenaje como "muy apreciable".
