Propuesta metodológica para la definición de las licencias sociales en proyectos de embalses con capacidad superior a 200 millones de m3 en Colombia

Abstract

The progress of development projects involves both environmental and social impacts; and it is in this type of project in reservoirs that greater social impact is generated due to changes involving the relocation of surrounding communities and others that require adaptation to change. To solve social problems and resistance, there are mechanisms of participation in which citizens and local authorities can give their opinion. However, the implementation of a social license that focuses not only on the needs of society, but where your opinion is so important to the performance or nonperformance of the project, work or activity (POA) is required. This approach to social license and some parameters for application will be announced during the progress of this work.
