Geotureco: geovisor para la consulta y visualización de información asociada a sitios de ecoturismo de carácter privado en Colombia

Abstract

Ecotourism is based on the conservation of natural capital and economic development, which represents an important opportunity to achieve a better consolidation of establishing viable businesses and as a factor of social development. For the development, the SCRUM methodology was used, in which functional and non-functional user requirements were established and modified in order to allow a simple, intuitive and informative search of private ecological sites in the country. As a result, a geographic viewer was developed that allows interested users to search for information regarding sites that provide ecotourism services, with basic consultation and navigation tools, which allow them to know the location of the ecotourism site they wish to obtain through research, as well as contact information that allows a considerable improvement in the search, in the reduction of consultation times of these places and also allows the economic benefit of the owners of said businesses, thus contributing to the economic development of the country.
