Abstract

Francisco José de Caldas District University has created the Arts Documentation Center through a resolution by the Academic Vice-Rectory. This Center is designed as a specialized information unit that seeks to strengthen teaching, research, and artistic creation within the ASAB Faculty of Arts. Based on constitutional and state mandates, the Center will support access to information and the preservation of the memory of artistic activity. Furthermore, its objectives include the construction of specialized collections, the dissemination of artistic material, and collaboration with other documentation centers at the national and international levels. The direction of the Center will be the responsibility of a Coordinator and an Advisory Committee, who will be responsible for formulating policies and action plans for its operation.
