Herramienta para fortalecer el conocimiento en biodiversidad y promover su conservación a través de los programas de participación en las cuencas Salitre, Torca y Tunjuelo

Abstract

The term biodiversity is currently widely used but rarely understood, so its meaning is devalued and it becomes necessary to create a tool that facilitates its understanding emphasizing its relevance and the possible consequences that it would have appropriate the territory to which it belongs and the resources with which it is counted. That's why, that this work was done to support the dissemination of tools that strengthen the biodiversity and conservation and, to support the Biodiversity Environmental caregivers and caregivers, showing their growth and proposing outreach ideas; the project was carried out in the programme of participation of the Tunjuelo basin, Salitre and Torca, from the missionaryity of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM). By generating spaces from environmental co-responsibility, citizens engage in conservation of the city's plant cover, the above is supported by the Caregiver and Caregiver Networks program, so it's important to create tools accessible to all, and likewise, the community is the one who learns and benefit from the programs. As a result, the population is the main agent of change in their environment and at the same time are spokesmen for their space, the 'UbicaRed app, caregivers and caregivers' shows these communities aids and ideas that contribute to the development of environmentally friendly behaviours through the disclosure of the 'Project Nodes of Biodiversity: Research and Social Appropriation of Biodiversity in the Capital Region Bogota' (Bio Connection, 2020) accompanied by publications of works, workshops, activities, ideas, etc., which they share in the different networks so that these initiatives can achieve multiply and avoid divided work, and if on the other hand, people who don't know about this project are participants. The characterization and previous ideas of the community served to know how much was knowledge about the concept of biodiversity in the city of Bogota and conservation, tool sought to gradually strengthen this knowledge where the increase the participation of more individuals, and with it, the results have greater impact. Similarly, generating in the population the use of these tools in its nearest environment, enhancing the implementation of the material designed for its continuous improvement and this meets one of its goals, which is to reach as many people as possible present in the territory. The development of this tool narrowed the gaps between communities and their environment, in addition adapted to the current global situation, taking sides of the virtuality that will facilitate the publicity of the material proposed.
