Propuesta de mejoramiento para el área de estampación en la empresa Dugotex S.A mediante la filosofía lean manufacturing

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to make an improvement proposal for the company Dugotex S.A., a company dedicated to the production and marketing of underwear for the whole family, with the highest quality standards at ideal prices. Currently in the stamping area there are flaws, waste and reprocessing; That is why it demonstrates the need to implement improvements to 3 minimize costs and increase efficiency. Then, an introduction to the Lean Manufacturing philosophy and how it can be applied in the stamping area is presented. The specific objectives of the improvement proposal are detailed below, including the identification of critical processes, the elimination of waste, the standardization of processes and continuous improvement. Also presented are the tools and techniques that will be used to achieve these objectives, such as process mapping, value stream analysis, and kaizen. Finally, the need to implement the Lean Manufacturing philosophy in the company Dugotex S.A. is justified. due to the contingencies that the company has faced in recent years, such as the closure of the border with Venezuela and the global pandemic, which have highlighted the need to reinvent and better organize the entire production process.
