Resumen
The liquid waste discharge problem is something that affects any community, wherever we settle, we require the use of sewers or management systems to dispose them properly and in accordance with national and local regulations. The village of La Unión, in Sibaté, Cundinamarca, is not the exception to this, being an organized and considerably large rural community, which disposes of its discharges to the Muña Reservoir, the way in which this disposal is carried out becomes a problem to attend. For this reason, this research project seeks to formulate the Plan de saneamiento y manejo de vertimientos, PSMV, for the community of this village. In this way it will be possible to identify not only the socioeconomic dynamics that characterize it and that are directly related to the classification of the discharges, but also the affectation of these to the water source and all the processes that it entails. This will be done by collecting primary and secondary information, the primary information directly in the field, with observation and recognition of the village and its organization, discharge points, the presence of industry, schools, health centers, among others. Also, in first-hand sources of information such as the mayor's office and public service companies. And secondary information as in other research projects carried out in the area, or in programs such as Google Earth and other virtual information systems. With this, it is expected to collect the necessary information to achieve a complete and integral investigation of the study area, and to be able to propose wastewater treatment technologies that allow meeting the goals of reducing pollutant loads in the receiving source and thus improve the conditions of it and also from the community of the village of La Unión, in Sibaté.
