Modelo Dinámico para Contrastar el Desempeño Ambiental, Social y Económico de Estrategias para la Gestión de Residuos de Construcción y Demolición en Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

This document aims to show a System Dynamics model proposed to evaluate and compare the impact of diverse waste management strategies on Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris over some environmental, ecological and economic aspects as dimensions for measuring sustainability. The model look for promote a systematic thinking about relations between strategic decisions over the C&D waste management and its long term consequences over sustainability and also for providing that allow decision makers to simulate and study the potential impact of several wastes strategies; those strategies were focused in two types logistics and normative related. Finally, the results of assumed scenarios was simulated with data contextualized in Bogota D.C, Colombia, those are presented in order to show the expected results and provide guidance regarding their implementation.
