Abstract

This paper addresses how Neptura Zomac S.A.S. works to reduce global pollution and climate change, highlighting its work in carbon markets as key tools for reducing emissions and improving air quality. This project, focused on the department of Cauca, proposes a business model based on carbon credits, leveraging emerging technologies such as blockchain to ensure transparency, security, and the management of these initiatives. This approach addresses the environmental and social challenges of Cauca, a region characterized by its biodiversity and important ecosystems, but facing risks due to unsustainable practices. The proposal includes measures aimed at protecting natural resources, promoting education on environmental and technological issues, ensuring equitable access to economic initiatives, and establishing pricing for carbon capture.
